St. Thomas Aquinas Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Libertad, Antique, Philippines.

History
Libertad was called Laguing Banwa and used to be part of the territory of the town of Pandan. In 1834, Fr. Mariano Zapanta was assigned to spread Christianity to the settlement. However, its people abandoned their homes and fled to the remote uplands. Thus the friar was given a mission in a different place, and Libertad became known as Inayawan (translated to one that was abandoned).
It was made into an independent municipality and its jurisdiction covered the villages of San Roque, Pajo, Cubay, Bulanao, Maramig, Paz, Igcagay, Idiayan, Barushus, Libertad, Tabuc, Lacadon, Ebabao, Aracan, Lindero, Union, Buya, Tinigbas, and Punta Pucio by virtue of Executive Order 253 issued by President Elpidio Quirino on August 5, 1949.
The church was established in 1958.
