History
The church in the village of Taloto, Tagbilaran City has a long history. It was founded towards the end of the Spanish period in 1890. It became a parish in 1966.
Architecture
The church has an asymmetrical appearance due to the presence of the epistle bell tower that stands a few meters to the front, making the rest of the portico recessed. The bell tower is four-cornered, but where it terminates a hexagonal belfry rises pierced with arches in all sides and topped with round roof. The image of the patroness is installed to the right of the tower.
Celebration
The feast of the patroness is held every August 22.
Services
- The parish is closed every Tuesday. It is open for the rest of the week from 9:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon, except on Sundays when it is only open until 12:00 noon.
