Virgen de los Desamparados Parish Church is a Roman Catholic and Marian church located in the village of Logon in the northern town of Daanbantayan, Cebu, Philippines. Its patroness is also known as Our Lady of the Forsaken.

History
The barangay of Logon is mostly known for Malapascua Island, a popular diving spot and a summer destination that is famed for its shorelines of fine, powdery sand and crystal-clear blue waters.
The church was declared a parish on October 13, 2013 although the devotion to the Blessed Virgin may have originated from and the first church built in the 19th century.
Virgen de los Desamparados of Logon
According to tradition, the devotion to Virgen de los Desamparados in the community of Logon began in 1881. Her image was discovered on a piece of wood that kept drifting onshore and brought inland to be venerated. Ten years later, the first church of wood and palm fronds was built.
The image of Virgen de los Desamparados stands on a two-bodied pedestal embellished with foliage. The vestment covers much of the image, save her face and a pair of small, clasping hands protruding from a round hole on her chest. She is decorated with metalwork that seems to burst from behind her and which forms into a galaxy of twelve stars.
Architecture
The church has a two-toned facade of white and blue. A portico is by the arch-entrance, and above in relief is the image of the patroness. The facade is flanked by a pair of bell towers decorated with a round openings and capped with pyramidal roof.
Celebration
The feast of Virgen de los Desamparados falls on May 12.
