St. Mary Magdalene Church is a Roman Catholic church located in San Policarpio, Eastern Samar, Philippines.

History
In the olden times, the natives called settlement Bunga which means fruit in the local language. It was organized into a village in 1837 and under the jurisdiction of Oras when it became a pueblo in 1849. Finally, it was established as an independent town by virtue of Republic Act No. 281 on June 16, 1948.
The church meanwhile was established on December 26, 1959.
Architecture
The slopes of the gable are extended almost on the entire width of the church’s facade. On the pediment is an altar where the patroness is enthroned, beside which is a concrete band and on the other side is a rectilinear apertures. An overhang is fixed upon the entrance, while the name of the parish is spelled out in channel letters in the gospel side. A grand bell tower is erected in the epistle side.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Mary Magdalence is July 22.
