History
The church in Banago was established in 1971 on a property donated by the Julio and Purina Ledesma. It became a parish in 1994 and its first parish priest is Fr. Telesforo Sardon.
Architecture
The church stands out for its atypical roof that is abruptly terminated, an architectural choice that is similar to the Most Holy Rosary Church in Alangilan. Glass installations are in the half-pediment and a narrow wall that is decorated with a cross. Cross motifs adorn the metalwork in the ground level facing the road. Arches are found in its high wall.
Celebration
The feast day of Nuestra Señora de Salvacion is every November 30.
