Saint Joseph the Worker Church is a Roman Catholic church located in San Jose, Negros Oriental, Philippines.

History
San Jose and Amlan were one territory called Ayuquitan. The seat of the government was moved to Ayuquitan Nuevo, old name of Amlan, for it had more inhabitants. It became a town in 1848 and then its name was changed to Amlan through Republic Act No. 435 on June 7, 1950.
Meanwhile San Jose seceded from Amlan by virtue of Republic Act No. 1212 on May 9, 1959. Its church was established in 1895.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Joseph is May 10, coinciding with the Ayuiquitan Festival of the town.
Services
Devotional Mass to St. Joseph is every 19th of the month.
The parish office is open from 8:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon and from 1:30 to 5:00 in the afternoon daily except Tuesday and Sunday.
