Saint Roque the Healer Church is a Roman Catholic church located in San Roque, Northern Samar, Philippines.

History
The town of San Roque is named after its patron saint. Previously, it was part of the town of Pambujan called Lao-angan. Its history goes back to 1801 when the first settler made a clearing in present-day Sitio Malarag. In the next few decades, migration of people resulted to an increase in population. In 1872, it was raised into a barrio.
Towards the waning years of Spanish colonization, its leaders petitioned for Lao-angan to be elevated into a town. It did not push through because of the outbreak of the Philippine Revolution and the subsequent occupation of American colonizers.
During the term of Ramon Siervo and Alfredo dela Cruz as mayors of Pambujan, a formal request to transform Lao-angan into a municipality was made through the aid of Representative Eladio T. Balite. And so Republic Act No. 2102 was enacted without executed approval on March 28, 1959 creating the municipality of San Roque with its seat of government located in Lao-angan.
Three years later, the church was established in 1962.
Architecture
The church is of modern design, and its facade is made distinct by use of stone exterior of different colors. The entrance and the central section of the front wall are framed within a pointed arch outline. The same decorative outline is seen as well in the side entrances. The bell tower is located in the gospel side.
Celebration
The feast day of St. Roch of Montpellier is August 16.
