St. Isidore The Farmer Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Nabas, Aklan, Philippines. Its patroness is Nuestra Señora de Salvacion.

History

The church was established in 2004.

Architecture

The church’s facade is a mix of stone veneer and plain concrete wall. A portico is supported by columns on plinths and erected by the entrance, which is flanked by arch windows. The niche of the patron is encased in glass and located high up on the wall in the gospel side. Above the entrance door and extending to an otherwise unadorned pediment is a section containing a cross-shaped window with half-sun and rays covered with a concrete gable. The bell tower in the epistle side has a quadrangular base giving way to an octagonal belfry and capped with a dome and cross.

Celebration

The feast day of St. Isidore is May 15, and the municipal festival coincides with the feast of Nuestra Señora de Salvacion every September 23.
