History
The church was founded in 1952.
Architecture
The church’s facade is an interplay of tiled and plain surfaces. It is pierced with rectangular, round and arched windows and several panels of glass installations of both decorative and Catholic images. Churchgoers go through the entrance via a portico whose ceiling includes a sunken section; the entryway is decorated with a frontispiece of concentric half-circles. Most distinctive is the pair of church towers the flanks the facade (and in turn flanked by church wall extensions in either sides) that is topped with onion dome roof.
Celebration
The feast of St. Monica is celebrated every May 4.
