History
Canonical erection of the parish took place on February 2, 1941, with Fr. Doroteo Imperial as the first parish priest. Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new church occurred on February 6, 2005, and it was on September 8, 2008 that the first mass was held there.
It serves the following areas: Anuang, Balabag, Cadoldolan, Cagban, Calawagan, Inaladan, Janipaan, Jelicuon, Pacatin and Puyas.
Architecture
A bell tower is built in the gospel side, and its entrance is shaded by the portico. The front wall of the church is pierced with arches and rose window, and the patron is enthroned above the portico.
Celebration
The feast of Our Lady of Candles is February 9.
