History
The church began as an Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel and was part of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish (V&G Subd). It was established into a mission station on November 13, 2021. It was canonically erected into a parish by Archbishop John F. Du on November 19, 2022. The first parish priest was Rev. Msgr. Benedicto B. Catilogo, P.C.
Its community includes St. Pedro Calungsod Chapel (GB Homes), Sto Niño de Tacloban Chapel (Sitio Pisong), St. Joseph Freinademitz Chapel (Caibaan), and Our Lady of Salvacion Chapel (St. Anne Subdv., Villa Mayor).
Celebration
The feast day of St. Arnold Janssen is January 15.
