Virgen de la Candelaria Church is a Roman Catholic and Marian church located in Bagacay, Tacloban City, Leyte, Philippines.

History
The church’s humble beginning originates from a chapel under the advocation of St. Roch of Montpellier that was built on a donated property by Tranquilino Eusebio and Clara Mendiolia in 1958. It was raised into a mission station on December 7, 2015, and its titular was Our Lady of Candles with St. Roch as its secondary patron. It was canonically erected into parish by Archbishop John F. Dun on June 28, 2022.
Architecture
The church has a double portico, one approximating the width of the entrance door and the other runs the entire width of the facade. Above, the walls are pierced with rose windows with beautiful tracery and arch windows with stained glass.
Celebration
The feast day of Our Lady of Candles is February 2, while the feast of St. Roch of Montpellier is August 23.

The parish office is open 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN and 2:00-5:00 PM Tuesday to Saturday. On Sunday, it is open between 9:00 AM and 12:00 NN.
