History
The mission station in Barangay Lucero was established by Capiz Archbishop Jose F. Cardinal Advincula on March 25, 2021. It serves 45 Basic Ecclesial Communities consisting of twenty chapels. Fr. Krys Joseph P. Señeres was appointed as its first priest. Its patron is Blessed Justo Takayama Ukon, a martyr who was born in Osaka in 1552.
Architecture
The church is under construction as of writing. It will be the first house of worship dedicated to the patron in the Philippines.
Celebration
The feast day of Blessed Justo Takayama Ukon is February 3.
